- Proficient skill in preparing concise, analytical, and cogent reports.
- Working knowledge of nondiscrimination laws and compliance regulations including Title IX, due process protections as they apply to Clery Act, VAWA, and FERPA. Preferred Qualifications Experience as an HR Generalist, EEO Investigator, Employee Relations Specialist, Paralegal or related position; or advanced degree from an accredited in a related field.
- Trained in Trauma Informed Interviewing.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting investigations related to discrimination and Title IX. Job Description The Compliance Specialist reports to the AVP for the Office of Equal Opportunity & Title IX Coordinator, who is responsible for the administration of the relevant institutional policies, association, federal, and state regulations.
- The Title IX Intake Coordinator works collaboratively with various offices at the University to ensure compliance with Title IX, the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, and other related local, state, and federal regulations.
