- At its core, our work includes public policy and systems advocacy, prevention, movement building, messaging and communications, membership services, training, and education and advocacy for racial justice and social change.
- The Communications and Disability Access Intern will play a vital role in advancing JDI’s work to drive key messages and shape public conversations as a statewide membership organization committed to gender equity and racial justice.
- This position will be supervised by the Communications and Outreach Manager and will work closely with other JDI staff, communications teams from member organizations working in DV/SA, to audit JDI’s current accessibility measures, improve accessibility for cross-disability solidarity, grow social media presence, and streamline internal and external JDI communication processes.
- Creating, posting, and sharing original content relevant to the DV/SA movement and survivors to JDI’s active social media platforms in accordance with JDI monthly communications plans, as directed by the Communications and Outreach Manager
