- The major responsibilities of the Child Development Teacher will be to care for infants and toddlers requiring specialized knowledge and skills to properly address the cognitive, social, and emotional developmental needs of this age group.
- In addition, staff will not employ methods of discipline that involve isolation, the use of food as punishment or reward, or the denial of basic needs.
- Develops and teaches weekly lesson plans for each child according to early childhood and assessment tool standards.
- Participates in pre-service training, plans, and participates in start of the year programming, conducts home visits, oversees execution of health examinations, screening, and immunization activities, including maintenance of records, and conducts other duties as assigned.
