- As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Executive Management Team (EMT), the CHRO is responsible for developing and executing the human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the Agency, specifically in the areas of employee relations, talent management, organizational and performance management, training and professional development, succession planning, compensation, benefits, and DEI initiatives and engagement strategies.
- The CHRO serves as an advisor and partner to the President/CEO and provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs, goals, and plans to the SLT and EMT.
- Provides overall leadership and guidance to the HR function by overseeing talent strategy, career development, succession planning, retention, professional development and training, leadership development, diversity and inclusion initiatives, compensation, benefits, and conflict resolution processes.
- Consults with legal counsel as appropriate or as directed by the President/CEO, on personnel matters.
- SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or equivalent is strongly preferred.
