Advise the Deputy and Division Director on actions and needs of the bureau and its work.<li>Monitor federal finance requirements related to Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Responsible for the development and implementation of documentation of procedures to be used by recipients to access and use IDEA funds and grants (state formula grants and discretionary grants). Maintain a working knowledge of the state and federal policy and the impact of proposed legislation on the bureaus and the institutions and programs it oversees. <li>Coordinate, support, supervise and evaluate bureau Administrative Consultants and Educational Program Consultants in their work for the division. Provide staff with focus and support to accomplish their work. Plan, assign, direct and conduct the tasks assigned to the bureau. Included in this is the monitoring and compliance of funds and activities across the bureau. Evaluation of activities, objectives and priorities to ensure appropriate expenditure of funds and to maximize the use of available resources.<li>Provide oversight of the bureau budget, grants, programs, and direct budget development. Direct the preparation of the budget for the bureau, approve the utilization of funds, assign funding priorities, and assure that program requirements are addressed through resource allocation.
