- As a Bilingual Spanish-speaking Youth Librarian, you will serve your assigned library location but also support your designated library region as a whole, providing services to the Latino community and all communities served within that region.
- The We Speak Your Language team connects immigrant and refugee communities to the information and resources they need to be successful in the United States.
- We are adding exciting teen spaces and engaging early literacy play areas into our remodels.
- Of those patrons, 25% is of Hispanic heritage, 8% is of Black or African American heritage, and 17% are persons living at or below the poverty level.
- With an extremely diverse patron base, Midland is the home location for two youth services librarians, two regional adult services librarians and staff from all our We Speak Your Language groups and serves as the home library for many BIPOC communities, as well as immigrants and refugees.
