- The Benefits Specialist provides professional, technical, and administrative support for the day-to-day functions and related tasks of the Employee Benefits Program.
- Coordinates the annual enrollment process, preparation of employee communications, and employee events.
- Provides professional, administrative and technical support for the Medical, Supplemental Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Accounts, Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Supplemental Life, Voluntary Benefits (Whole Life, Critical Illness, Home and Auto Insurance, Pet Insurance, Hyatt Legal, Identity Theft Protection), Employee Assistance Program and Employee Discount Programs.
- Coordinates and organizes all aspects of the on-going and the annual benefits enrollment process, including but not limited to Employee Benefit Fairs, New Employee Orientation, production of collateral materials, production of the annual Benefits Guide, mailings, intranet postings, and employee communications.
- Responsible for the day-to-day administration of assigned benefit programs, responding to emails and phone calls, processing of Qualified Life Events and reviewing, entering and approving information in the benefits enrollment system and auditing current processes for data integrity and accuracy.
