- The Associate Director of Major Giving is accountable for the development, planning, and implementation of fundraising strategies for Major Giving at PAWS. At PAWS, Major Giving encompasses giving to the annual fund, fundraising campaigns, and special events by donors who are in an actively managed portfolio, gifts of non-cash assets, and planned giving.
- The Associate Director of Major Giving will also cultivate and grow relationships with current and prospective major donors and solicit gifts to support the annual fund, special events, and capital campaign fundraising goals.
- The Associate Director has managerial responsibility and supervises the Major Gifts Officer.
- Coordinate with the fundraising leadership team (the department Director, Associate Director of Philanthropy, and Associate Director of Events) to ensure fundraising programs, activities, and goals are in alignment.
- Oversee and guide the work of the Major Gifts Officer and conduct annual performance evaluations.
