- Assist the Regional Director in implementing the strategic vision and goals for the regional Head Start program, ensuring alignment with the agency's mission and objectives to promote the holistic development of children and families served by the MSHS/MEHS program.
- Is responsible for the execution of the program model designed and centered around Early Learning Outcomes Framework and Parent Family Community Engagement Framework that promotes the advancement of emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development of infants, toddlers and preschool children as well as promote parental engagement in all aspects of the program in preparing children ready for kindergarten.
- Is responsible for all assigned center’s performance within the Head Start program including Program Quality and Outcomes, Programmatic Content, Safety and Security of Children, Parental Education, managing within the established budget and maintaining compliance, management and reporting and assures that standards are being exceeded.
- In coordination with the MSHS Regional Director, is responsible for the regional coordination and development of local and state linkages, coordination agreements with state agencies, county health, social service departments, school districts, Title I Migrant Education, migrant health services, to foster collaboration and improve resources to parents and children in the program.
- In coordination with the MSHS Regional Director, takes an active role in the preparation of Regional Budgets, Regional Grant Proposals and ensures that Fiscal, Programmatic and Administrative Requirements are met and ensure compliance with all funding source mandates, applicable laws, and regulations.
