- Position SummaryThe Department of Individual, Family and Community Education (IFCE) in the College of Education & Human Sciences (COEHS) at the University of New Mexico (UNM) invites applications for two Assistant Professor positions in the Nutrition & Dietetics Program beginning August 2023.
- The UNM Nutrition & Dietetics Program has a Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) and a Dietetic Internship (DI), both accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND), and a Master of Science (MS) Program in Nutrition.
- The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Nutrition & Dietetics Program.
- Some of the courses may include Nutrition for Health, Human Nutrition, Methods in Nutrition Education, Management in Dietetics, Energy Nutrients in Human Nutrition, Vitamins and Minerals in Human Nutrition, Methods in Nutrition Research, Clinical Nutrition Assessment and Skills, and Applied Nutrition and Exercise.
- Applicants who are appointed to a UNM tenure track faculty position are required to provide an official certification of successful completion of all degree requirements prior to their initial employment with UNM.
