- We seek candidates for two positions at the Assistant tenure track or Associate Professor rank whose research is broadly relevant to UMIID's Program Antimicrobial Resistance and Drug Discovery to include bacterial physiology and genomics, human microbial ecology, bacteriophages, and bacterial-host interactions.
- Successful candidates will demonstrate potential to develop a prominent and innovative research program that complements the University's research strengths in host-pathogen interactions, immunity and host defense, virology, mycology, genomics, drug discovery, translational research, and clinical trials.
- Minimum qualifications: PhD, MD, or equivalent in a relevant field of study, plus applicable postdoctoral or faculty experience.
- Our faculty's interests and expertise encompass some of the most exciting areas of contemporary microbiology and immunology, ranging from the physiology and development of microorganisms, the molecular pathogenesis of infections, and fundamental aspects of immunity.
