- Reporting to the Head Football Coach, the Assistant Football Coach uses independent judgment and discretion, instruction, and education to train players on the rules, strategies, and techniques of and ensure that student-athletes understand, comply and abide by the rules and regulations of the NCAA and the University of New Haven.
- Work closely with the Head Football Coach to evaluate the strengths and weakness of student-athletes
- Assist the Head Football Coach in planning and organizing practice sessions
