- The Village of Glen Ellyn is seeking qualified candidates for the full-time position of Assistant Finance Director.
- The job duties of the position include, but are not limited to, assisting the Finance Director in managing the day-to-day operations of the Department, overseeing the cashier, utility billing, accounts payable, customer service, accounting, and payroll operations.
- Participate as an integral member of the Village budget team; assists Finance Director and other Department Heads with budget information requests and reports; assists with completing the final budget document.
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or advanced degree is preferred.
- The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience using enterprise financial/accounting software systems; prior experience using MUNIS (Tyler Technologies) would be ideal.
