- Primary responsibilities include department programmatic efforts, orientations for students on and off campus as it relates to living in the surrounding neighborhoods, implementing the University trash monitoring program and operationalizing the Student Neighborhood Assistance Program (SNAP).
- Lastly, the Assistant Director must be available throughout the academic year to occasionally participate on SNAP, which operates from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m.
- the Assistant Director(s) for Student Conduct regarding judicial actions for students residing off-campus
- the Director of Facilities management regarding bulk trash disposal off campus and general issues in the neighborhood
- meeting regularly with the Office of the Tenant Advocate to better understand landlord / tenant laws to better serve the University community.
