- Duties Description The Office of Special Investigations (OSI) is seeking qualified candidates to be considered for to serve as the Assistant Deputy Chief Investigator (ADCI) OSI's Fugitive Investigations Division (FID).
- FID specializes in fugitive apprehensions of releasees and incarcerated individuals, returning out-of-state fugitives to New York, and often assists partnering outside law enforcement agencies with fugitive apprehensions.
- This ADCI position is responsible for the daily operations of FID and management of FID staff in New York City, Long Island, and lower Hudson Valley regions of New York State.
- The ADCI position is the fifth-level leadership and supervisory level role (under the Deputy Commissioner/Chief, Assistant Commissioner/Assistant Chief, Director of Operations and Deputy Chief Investigator for FID).
