- Incumbent serves as Airport Operations Officer responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operations of the airfield, terminal and aprons.
- Under the direction of the Manager of Airfield Operations, this position plans, organizes, and oversees airside and landside operations.
- Oversees airport operations to provide for the safety and security of the general public, tenants, airport staff, and other key stakeholders.
- Responsible for conducting airfield inspections to include movement and non-movement, paved and unpaved surfaces, Safety Areas, and airspace obstructions, to ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations, and maintains associated inspection records.
- Inspects deicing fluid storage facility and deicing areas during winter operations; inspects hazardous waste areas and sign offs to ensure proper labeling and disposal, checks boiler rooms in Airport buildings, both inside and outside fence line.
