- ADULT EDUCATOR – CAREER BRIDGE PROGRAMSWILBUR WRIGHT COLLEGEAdult Education is a comprehensive program of free classes for adult students who need to learn English and improve their basic literacy skills, obtain a General Education Diploma (GED), prepare for the citizenship test, or gain the knowledge needed for transition to college and career pathways.
- The Adult Education Department of Wilbur Wright College, one of the City Colleges of Chicago, seeks a part-time Adult Educator with a passion for teaching and learning along with a strong commitment to the mission and ideals of the community college.
- This position works a part-time schedule and is responsible for providing instruction to Career Bridge (Language Arts, Mathematics, Career and Technical Education support) students, a specialty subpopulation of Adult Education students.
- Uses City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) Adult Education core materials designed for each course, including those in the Learning Management System, such as BrightSpace and/or My Open Math. May customize instruction with supplemental materials, as appropriate.
- QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university required, preferably in Adult Education, Education, Elementary or Secondary Education, English, Language Arts, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
