ACT Independent Living Skills Specialist

- You will serve as the independent living skills specialist for the ACT team, but you will also collaborate with the team to help members develop roles for themselves outside of their mental illness while focusing on expected outcomes of increased employment, meaningful community activity, social network, and decreased substance use/abuse, as well as independent living status.
- Minimum one (1) year experience teaching independent living skills to disabled individuals required.
- Requires extensive knowledge and/or previous experience in independent living skills training, services, and
- For adults with serious mental illness, recovery and success in life depends on good mental and physical health, as well as having satisfying relationships, safe housing, purpose in life, a sense of belonging, and hope for the future.
