- Role Mission Provide safe transportation for up to 2,500 students on a daily basis while reducing operational costs.
- Support the Transportation Manager in successfully managing a team of up to 50 people as well as interacting and partnering with campus leaders to drive success.
- Participate in the development of school bus accident plans and be prepared to take an active role in emergencies Investigate reported accidents, vehicle damage, and student injuries, take appropriate action to resolve issues, and complete required corresponding reports.
- Receive and respond to emergency calls after hours and on weekends or after school hours Assess road conditions and hazards and advise transportation about inclement weather conditions that may result in bus delays or re-routes Establish efficient routes in order to meet on-time arrival goals in the morning and afternoon Supervise and monitor performance of assigned bus drivers to ensure routes, schedules, and safety procedures are consistently followed, and records are maintained.
