- The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Virginia (UVA), School of Medicine is recruiting a highly-motivated tenure-eligible faculty member (open rank) to lead a translational research program focusing on DNA damage response, genomic instability, and/or carcinogenesis.
- The successful candidate will be expected to maintain extramural funding, and contribute to the department s and to UVA s academic and research missions.
- Teaching responsibilities will be minimal, and include assisting with the Radiation Biology Course for our Radiation Oncology Physician Residency program.
- A competitive start-up package is available for an outstanding investigator.
- UVA has a very active and increasing number of investigators in the areas of DNA damage response and genomic instability.
