- Provide clinical mental health services to outpatient individuals, couples, family, children, adolescents, and adults.
- Measles and Rubella immunization required for selectees born after 1957 and seasonal influenza immunization is required for all staff working in Indian Health Service health care facilities.
- Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social).
- Professional knowledge of mental health counseling/therapy services as evidenced by possession of licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) - Mental Health (MH) or equivalent licensure or certification to provide independent behavioral health services.
- Examples Include: perform evidenced-based psychotherapy through variety of acute and chronic mental health problems, case planning that includes diagnosis, recommend treatment, documentation of patent encounters, create statistical and narrative reports, initiate referrals for evaluation and/or medication prescription.
