- CECOM is a major subordinate command (MSC) of the U.S. Army Materiel Command, with a global mission to research, develop, acquire, field, and sustain advanced communications and electronics systems for the Army. CECOM has a workforce of approximately 6,500 military and civilian employees located world-wide.
- Incumbent will serve as the Human Resources (HR) Specialist (Military) responsible for planning, monitoring, and implementing military personnel strength management.
- Manage military personnel (enlisted/officer) strength within the organization, coordinating with subordinate organizations/activities, the installation military personnel division, higher headquarters, and the U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC).
- Incumbent will provide technical advice, guidance, and customer support for the full spectrum of military HR programs to include, but not limited to awards, evaluations, promotions, military training, personnel actions, and strength management.
- Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
