- As a Cause-Driven leader, the HR Specialist assist associates and hiring managers with hiring procedures including gathering, collecting, and maintaining documentation, records and compliance in alignment with human resource policies and employment law.
- Under direction from the Executive Director, the HR Specialist will be responsible for supporting HR functions with a primary focus on hiring tasks, customer service, reporting and overall administrative tasks.
- This role will provide frontline customer service support to hiring managers and associate to increase efficiency in the hiring process.
- The HR Specialist demonstrates the Y's core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility in all areas of job performance.
- Monitor, track and respond to hiring tasks for all Y associates, including but not limited to: work authorization, criminal, credit and/or motor vehicle background checks, child care or criminal charge disclosures, medical assessment reports, notarized documentation for MSDE Office of Child Care, employment references, work permits and parental consent forms, proof of required vaccinations
