- The Springfield College School of Social Work and Behavioral Sciences, a leader in both BSW and MSW education in New England, invites applications for a full-time, nine-month tenure track professor of social work, eligible at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with experience.
- Successful applicants will have an earned MSW from a CSWE-accredited program and an earned Ph. D. in social work or a related discipline from a regionally accredited program, five years' post-masters experience in social work practice, social work licensure, demonstrated excellence in teaching in higher education, and a strong commitment to scholarship and service activities.
- Candidates must be able to teach across the curriculum in both the BSW and MSW programs, teaching through multiple modalities including in-person, hybrid, and online with both weekday evening and weekend availability.
- Candidates should demonstrate expertise and a commitment to furthering social justice, anti-racism, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Priority consideration will be given to candidates that can teach in the policy and research sequences, and have expertise in child welfare, juvenile justice, and/or forensic social work.
