- The RoleThe Australian Naval Classification Authority (ANCA) is responsible for establishing, managing and continuously improving a system of Naval Classification (the ANC Framework) to assure the seaworthiness of naval vessels operating in Defence of Australia.
- ANCA requires an experienced, agile self-starter to support the development and upkeep of the Australian Naval Classification (ANC) Framework.
- The Deputy Director ANC Rules and Authorities reports directly to the Director ANC Framework, and leads a small team responsible for the development and upkeep of Naval Classification Rules, policy, and management of competent organisations within a regulatory framework.
- The additional payment is a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP) which enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the rate of salary otherwise payable under the Enterprise Agreement (EA) to some or all of the jobs within a critical occupation(s) or discipline within a workplace.
- Should your performance fall beyond requirements or the eligibility criteria not be met, your eligibility for the BDCP may be reviewed and ceased.
