The Radiation Therapist will simulate and deliver a planned course of radiation therapy under the direction of a physician, provide patient care, and perform other support services. Primary Duties: Verifies and delivers physician's prescribed course of radiation therapy, immobilizes patients, utilizes beam directional devices, wedges compensating filters and customized blocks as applicable, insures the clinical, physical, and psychological needs of patients are met during treatments, reports signs of complications or other changes in status and transports patients.
