The Control Room Operator is responsible for operational support during down time including loading, unloading, picking, and creating bills of lading (BOL’s) Some examples of the equipment and systems include but are not limited to the following: Operation of Power Industrial Equipment such as forklifts, Cranes, AGV’s, barcode scanners to manage inventory in the WMS (Cambar), BlueJay TMS (Transportation Management System), SAP, Security gates, cameras, ticket applicators, pallet invertors, and any other systems or equipment needed to meet the demands of the business.
