Review laboratory and x-ray reports daily and inform the medical officer of the day of actions taken. Have and maintain, at all times current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Family Practice/Primary care providers, and the following additional requirements for Emergency Room Providers - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certificate by way of an American Heart Association training program and Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS) or equivalent.

This position is located in the Patient Registration Section of the Business Office (BO) in the Cass Lake Indian Health Service Service Unit located within Cass Lake, Minnesota in the Bemidji Area. The incumbent provides registration and eligibility services which are the key point of interaction with patients to obtain and process demographic and insurance information for Alternate Resources, Contract Health Services and private/commercial insurance.

All RN's will be required to participate in an on-call shift rotation for the Emergency Room as directed by the Director, Associate Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor. Your Human Resources Specialist will provide a list of documents acceptable as vaccination proof and instructions on how to submit your vaccination documentation or how to request a medical or religious exemption, if needed.
