The SOC Analyst conducts Threat Hunting when no open alerts are available and research on emerging threats using open source data sets. The SOC Analyst creates data correlations and alerts based on discovered activity, and assists with findings, remediations, and reviews of events as part of the Incident Response Team. The SOC Analyst will work with a small team to develop dashboards, perform network analysis, and review alerts within Splunk and other tools such as Bro and SNORT.
