DDI has been a part of Long Island for over 50 years serving over 1,500 children and adults with Autism, other developmental disabilities and special needs. Overview Developmental Disabilities Institute, DDI, is one of the largest providers of care to children and adults with Autism, developmental disabilities and other special needs.

Fahrman Center is a 42-bed adult residential treatment facility that provides inpatient addictions services for men and women as well as restorative justice services for clients who are involved with various correctional entities.

We provide care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities, healing accountability that brings people together with restorative justice, and free HIV testing and education.

Holds youth accountable to reach goals set in their Restorative Justice healing path. What You Will Do: Administers the Restorative Justice Healing Initiative (RJHI). This position facilitates interactions in a positive, safe, and sensitive manner, effectively mentoring youth along a trajectory of restorative justice.

Collaborate with the Equity Director and CLS staff on CLS's restorative justice and conflict resolution practices to positively address workplace conflict. Restorative justice and conflict resolution guidelines – Created guidelines for restorative processes at CLS to positively address workplace conflict.

The evidence-based history of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy has proven it to be a best practice model used to support and provide effective treatment to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as well as other behavioral and developmental disabilities.

CDCR and CCHCS strive to collaborate with the community to enhance public safety and promote successful community reintegration through education, treatment and active participation in rehabilitative and restorative justice programs.

We also study feminist theory, critical multiculturalism, restorative justice, and gerontology. The Social Work Department, housed within the School of Health Sciences, has a diverse faculty who publish in the areas of disability studies both in the U.S. and internationally, including alcohol and drug problems, healthcare for children and adults with disabilities, and the social inclusion of children with developmental disabilities.

The Culturally Specific Restorative Justice Facilitator designs and delivers restorative justice training programs tailored to diverse cultural communities. Facilitate discussions and dialogues to enhance community understanding and engagement with restorative justice including conducting restorative justice cases and outreach with police and other system partners to enhance collaboration and support for restorative justice initiatives.

Life Skills / Developmental Training Instructors give support and oversight to staff in the day program setting serving adults with intellectua l/ developmental disabilities and provide direct support and life skills training to individuals served.

These include: an onsite housing resource center, trauma-informed clinical services, a high-school equivalency (GED) program, restorative justice programs, an AmeriCorps national service program, and a wide range of youth development programs.
