The Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Technician will be responsible for maintaining controls and instrumentation for our client in a food processing plant in Decatur, Indiana. As part of your duties, you will be asked to perform calibrations, to troubleshoot process instrumentation, to provide preventive maintenance on control processes, to execute loop checks, to program in-process PLC’s or plant control software, to handle plant-wide process shutdown to include boiler controls, valve positioners, photo-eyes equipment, pressure and temperature transmitters, and related instrumentation.
