Manufacturing Test Software EngineerSalary: $125,000 – $150,000 + equity & benefitsLocation: Mission District, San Francisco, CAWe're looking for a self-motivated Manufacturing Test Software Engineer to join our R&D/Pilot test team in San Francisco. You'll work closely with R&D and Operations to improve test systems, processes, and production readiness for LiDAR products.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain, enhance, and deploy test systems and automation platformsDrive improvements in test efficiency, yield, and product qualityAnalyze root causes of failures and implement corrective actions using tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone analysisSupport scalability and manufacturability projectsPrepare technical documentation and train test operatorsRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong Python programming and debugging skillsExperience with test automation in manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with source control tools (Git, Jira, etc.) and quality standards (SPC, GR&R, control charts)Experience with LiDAR, robotics, vision systems (Cognex/OpenCV), or test measurement equipment is a plusBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience10+ years supporting product tests in manufacturing
