If you are interested in pursuing arewardingcareer,we invite you to review our opportunities!Job Description SummaryServices and oversees major repairs of all types of equipment as required to ensure proper working condition when leaving the shop; dismantles and reassembles/rebuilds equipment; fabricates parts and equipment as required to meet shop and customer needs; diagnoses complex mechanical equipment problems. Operate basic and advanced hand tools, metering tools, forklifts, pallet jacks, and shop tools Make ready and receive low and medium voltage cables, all AC & DC load banks, all generators, power distribution items, transformers, and trailers for our rental customers Troubleshoot/repair small load banks, resistor racks on large load banks, power distribution items, trailers, and low voltage cables Conducts preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and down time in the field Performs safety inspections on equipment Maintains a clean and safe shop work environment Provides training and mentoring to other mechanics engaged in equipment repairs or maintenance Assesses time and cost of repairs May specialize in specific types of small equipment in large Profit Centers Performs other duties assigned as assigned by the manager Attends all training and manufacturing training as directed Adheres to all company, governmental and equipment related safety requirements Attends and participates in all Profit Center MeetingsLoad bank testing Electrical testing Power generation Generators (diesel / backup) UPS systems Switchgear Preventive maintenance Commissioning / startup Troubleshooting electrical systems Field service Travel Entry-level Hands-on / mechanical aptitude OSHA 10/30 NFPA 70E Multimeter PLC basics (optional but attractive)Base Pay Range: $20.89 - 30.02 Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
