If you are interested in pursuing a rewardingcareer, we invite you to review our opportunities!Job Description SummaryPower & HVAC Load Bank Technician, Level 1 maintains and repairs small load banks, resistor racks on large load banks, power distribution items, trailers, and low voltage cables, including diagnosing complex equipment problems while following all safety rules. Ensures equipment is in good working order for rental customers, without down time, using cost-effective methods. The Load Bank Technician, Level 1 possesses expert knowledge on all of Sunbelt's small load bank equipment offerings and is able to diagnose complex issues and also may act as a consultant/expert to others.Services and oversees major repairs of all types of equipment as required to ensure proper working condition when leaving the shop; dismantles and reassembles/rebuilds equipment; fabricates parts and equipment as required to meet shop and customer needs; diagnoses complex mechanical equipment problemsOperate basic and advanced hand tools, metering tools, forklifts, pallet jacks, and shop toolsMake ready and receive low and medium voltage cables, all AC & DC load banks, all generators, power distribution items, transformers, and trailers for our rental customersTroubleshoot/repair small load banks, resistor racks on large load banks, power distribution items, trailers, and low voltage cablesConducts preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and down time in the fieldPerforms safety inspections on equipmentMaintains a clean and safe shop work environmentProvides training and mentoring to other mechanics engaged in equipment repairs or maintenanceAssesses time and cost of repairsMay specialize in specific types of small equipment in large Profit CentersPerforms other duties assigned as assigned by the managerAttends all training and manufacturing training as directedAdheres to all company, governmental and equipment related safety requirementsAttends and participates in all Profit Center MeetingsBase Pay Range: $20.89 - 30.02Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
