Job Description Community Life AssistantBring joy, engagement, and community to the independent living residents of Falcons Landing!We’re seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and organized Community Life Assistant to support the planning and delivery of engaging recreational, social, and educational programs for our vibrant residents.About the RoleAs a Community Life Assistant, you will help create meaningful experiences for independent living residents through daily programs, clubs, events, trips, educational opportunities, and more. If you enjoy working with people, have strong communication skills, and thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days look the same, this role is a great match.This position also offers professional development and growth opportunities.Key Responsibilities: Recreation & Community EngagementAssist the Community Life Manager in planning, implementing, and evaluating a wide variety of recreational, social, cultural, and educational programs.Help coordinate scheduling for activities and program spaces (daily, weekly, monthly).Support event setup and breakdown and serve as an on‐site representative during programs.Assist with coordinating entertainers, instructors, speakers, and outside vendors.Attend on‐campus and off‐campus activities, including occasional extended or irregular hours.Help produce printed and digital communications, including calendars, flyers, and resident announcements.Assist with resident committees and support volunteer coordination and recognition efforts.Monitor activity rooms and equipment to ensure safe use and address any deficiencies.Provide excellent customer service with professionalism, hospitality, and respect.Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.Operate company vehicles as needed for program-related purposes (applicants must meet insurance requirements).QualificationsHigh School diploma required.One year of experience in recreation/activities or equivalent experience.Experience working with older adults is strongly preferred.Strong written, verbal, and digital communication skills.Ability to read and follow instructions, prepare simple reports, and work across multiple software programs (Microsoft Office proficiency strongly preferred).Basic math and reasoning/problem‐solving skills.Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification.Recreation/activity certifications (local, state, or national) preferred but not required.Must be at least 25 years of age to operate company vehicles per insurance requirements.Hourly rate:$20.00 - $24.00Schedule:40 hours per weekWeekends as neededEvenings as neededHolidays as neededBenefits OfferedComprehensive health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits.Opportunities for professional growth, continuing education, and leadership development.Work-life balance in a supportive and collaborative culture.Falcons Landing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Ready to make a meaningful impact?Apply today and help us create exceptional experiences for our residents!Company DescriptionLike all great endeavors, Falcons Landing started as a dream – a dream to create a place where those who served their nation could relax and savor life to the fullest.
