IMO Program Manager
Role SummaryThe IMO Program Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and operational launch of newly formed businesses, MGAs, insurance programs and divisions. This role will transform business concepts and investment plans into fully operational businesses by coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring launch readiness.Key ResponsibilitiesLead new business initiatives from concept through launch and stabilization.Develop and manage integrated program plans, timelines, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.Coordinate cross-functional teams across Finance, Legal, Compliance, HR, Operations, IT, Data, Underwriting, Claims, Carrier Management, and Marketing.Drive implementation of client Target Operating Model (TOM) for new underwriting ventures.Manage operational readiness and facilitate executive go/no-go decisions.Provide clear status updates, dashboards, and recommendations to senior leadership and steering committees.Proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Management, IT, or related field.8+ years of experience in program/project management, business transformation, or operational implementation.Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional programs from planning through launch.Strong skills in program planning, stakeholder management, risk management, and executive communication.Ability to influence stakeholders, drive accountability, and operate effectively in ambiguous environments.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Experience in the insurance/P&C industry, including MGAs, underwriting, or insurance programs.Experience launching greenfield businesses or new ventures and Merger & Acquisition.Experience with Target Operating Models (TOM) and operational readiness.Experience with M&A integration or business transformation.PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred.
