Job Title: Healthcare IT / EMR Integration Specialist (NextGen Connect, Mirth, HL7/FHIR)Location: 100% Remote [SC, GA, NC States Candidates only Consider]Duration: 12 Months (with possible extension)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Healthcare IT / EMR Integration Specialist to support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of healthcare applications and interoperability systems. This role will work closely with vendors, clinical teams, and technical staff to ensure seamless EMR integrations and healthcare data exchange.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport end-to-end implementation activities including build, testing, and go-live of healthcare systems such as:Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR)Laboratory systemsPACS (imaging systems)Pharmacy systemsMaintain and support health IT infrastructure , including applications, databases, templates, and reporting toolsTroubleshoot and resolve EMR-related issues, including:Triage and escalationRoot cause analysisDevelop and generate reports for leadership and end usersDocument and analyze clinical workflows for medical and behavioral health providersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and data accuracyRequired Skills (in order of importance)7+ years of experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems (preferably NextGen)7+ years of experience with Mirth (NextGen Connect) / Lab SystemsPreferred Skills (in order of importance)Experience with HL7 messagingExperience with FHIR standards7+ years of experience in EMR Integration7+ years of experience with Healthcare Interoperability & Data Exchange7+ years of experience in Healthcare IT OperationsExperience working with State Government / Public Sector environmentsEducation RequirementsRequired:Bachelor's degree in one of the following:Computer ScienceInformation Systems / Information ScienceHealth AdministrationBusiness AdministrationMathematics / StatisticsBiological Sciences or related fieldRelevant experience in healthcare IT, project management, or health services#J-18808-Ljbffr
