Associate Executive Director

OverviewThe Associate Executive Director drives branch operations in support of the YMCA of Greater Brandywine's Strategic Plan. Oversees assigned areas of a YMCA branch, which may include membership, marketing, programs, and/or facilities. Responsible for volunteer and staff development, financial development, community relations and collaborations with community agencies. Provides leadership to committee(s) and advisory board(s) and annual campaign participation.QualificationsBachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience requiredAt least seven years of program management experience preferably at a YMCA.Five or more years of management experience, preferably in a YMCA or other not-for-profit agencyAbility to direct programs through supervision of volunteers and staff, development and monitoring of budgets, marketing and public relations, program development and fundraisingPreferred knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse populations requiredAbility to establish and maintain collaborations with community organizationsYMCA Multi-Team Leader certification preferredMust be fluent in spoken and written EnglishObtain and maintain all new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hireJ-18808-Ljbffr
