University of Rochester: Office of the Provost: University of Rochester Medical Center: School of Medicine and Dentistry: Dentistry**Salary Range or Pay Grade**$120,000 - $125,000**Description**The Department of General Dentistry of the Eastman Institute for Oral Health (EIOH), at the University of Rochester Medical Center, and the Department of Dentistry in the School of Medicine and Dentistry, is seeking to hire a faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry. Responsibilities include direct patient care, teaching and supervising clinical and research activities of residents in the EIOH Complex Care and Special Care dental clinics. Direct patient care may also be provided in the Operating Room. Medical staff faculty appointments required at Eastman Dental, Strong Memorial Hospital, and Highland Hospital.**Qualifications**1. Education: DDS/DMD or equivalent degree and post-doctoral General Practice Residency or Advanced Education in General Dentistry.2. Experience: Minimum 2 years in hospital-based (or affiliate) practice3. License/Certification Required: NYS Dental license eligibility. Must be credentialed with approved DOP per medical staff guidelines.4. Skills: As delineated in credentials and DOP5. Post-offer health assessment is required6.
