This senior position is ideal for a proactive individual with a background in a high-growth environment, as it involves direct partnership with the Chief Compliance Officer and close collaboration with investment and product teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the firm's approach to evolving guidance from U.S. regulators, pressure-testing regulatory risks for new offerings, and building governance frameworks to support business growth. Additionally, the role includes overseeing the development and execution of firm-wide compliance policies and training, as well as leading responses to regulatory inquiries and reviews.Applicants for the VP of Compliance role at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' of compliance experience within an SEC-registered investment adviser or a comparable regulatory/legal environment. A strong understanding of U.S. securities laws, particularly the '40 Act, and a Bachelor's degree are required. The ideal candidate will also have a Series 7, a J.D., experience with derivative-based strategies, and exposure to VC.
