Job Description:Assist VLG A&R TeamBook Artist and A&R team travelHandle expenses of A&R teamSchedule and keep A&R staff general meetings organizedResearch and book studios for recording sessionsKeep track of recordings and projects in the works, and tend to the needs of each projectPrep A&R presentation, meetings agenda and recapsLog-in all artist submissions, maintain log and send pass letters when applicableDistribute music via links within Universal and externallyWork hand in hand with A&R and A&R Admin. to collect credits for album release from Artist Management, Producer managers, mixers, engineers, collect publishing credits on all songs writtenHelp with Ticket buysSkills:Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with employees of the company at all levels including Senior ManagementAbility to interact comfortably and effectively with external partnersStrong administrative, organizational and creative skillsStrong computer skills are a plusunderstanding of Microsoft Office and basic audio/video formats is essentialAbility to work under high pressure and speedGreat social and interpersonal skillsAbility to keep information highly confidentialMust be flexible and able to multi-task
