Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote optionJob SummaryThe Orthopedic Nursing Supervisor provides clinical and operational leadership for a high-performing orthopedic care team, ensuring exceptional patient outcomes across the continuum of musculoskeletal care. This role blends hands-on clinical expertise with strategic leadership, supporting evidence-based practice, staff development, and a culture of collaboration and excellence. The ideal candidate is a confident leader with a passion for orthopedics, team mentorship, and delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced, outcomes-focused environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and support orthopedic nursing staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across inpatient and/or outpatient orthopedic servicesOversee daily clinical operations, staffing, scheduling, and workflow to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant care deliveryServe as a clinical resource and role model, providing guidance on complex orthopedic cases, post-operative care, pain management, and mobility protocolsFoster a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional growth through coaching, performance feedback, and staff development initiativesCollaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, physicians, athletic trainers, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and care coordinationEnsure adherence to evidence-based practices, regulatory standards, infection prevention, and quality and safety initiativesParticipate in quality improvement projects, data tracking, and performance metrics related to orthopedic outcomes, patient satisfaction, and throughputSupport onboarding, education, and competency validation for new and existing team members Actively contribute to a positive patient and employee experience by promoting open communication, engagement, and continuous improvement Requirements:Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant certification as determined at position level. Minimum Experience: 3 years of nursing experience.BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
