Business Development Specialist

**OPEN IN MULTIPLE LOCATIONS (New York, NY / Philadelphia, PA / Washington D.C.)**Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and collaborative Business Development Specialist to join its Litigation Marketing & Client Business Development team. This role will support the global Litigation practice by helping to develop and execute strategic marketing and business development initiatives that drive client engagement, enhance market visibility, and support practice growth.The RoleDraft and develop compelling client-facing materials, including pitches, proposals, and RFP responsesCreate tailored presentations and business development content aligned with client needs and market opportunitiesTrack pitch and proposal activity, monitor outcomes, and help identify best practices and strategic insightsPrepare submissions for legal directories, rankings, and awards, including Chambers, Legal 500, and industry recognitionsConduct competitive intelligence and market research on clients, prospects, industries, and competitors. Monitor litigation filings, industry developments, and relevant market trendsMaintain and update marketing collateral, attorney biographies, practice descriptions, and representative mattersCoordinate webinars, webcasts, and other thought leadership initiatives in collaboration with the Events teamCoordinate logistics for seminars, webinars, networking events, and sponsorship initiativesEnsure digital and print materials accurately reflect practice capabilities and recent successesSupport website content updates, case studies, event promotions, and client communicationsPartner with Marketing and PR teams to promote practice achievements and market positioningMaintain accurate client, practice, and experience data within CRM and internal databasesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field3–5 years of experience in marketing or business development, preferably within a law firm or professional services environmentExperience conducting research and competitive intelligence to support business development strategiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining high-quality work productProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms; familiarity with digital marketing tools is a plus
