🔧 Turbine Operations Specialist (Field-Based – USA Travel Role)We are seeking an experienced Turbine Operations Specialist to support the operation, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of turbine-based power systems across multiple project sites throughout the United States.This is a high-travel field role requiring adaptability, technical expertise, and the ability to work in remote and challenging environments.⚙️ Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor turbine packages to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable performanceSupport installation and commissioning activities, including mechanical and electrical system integration and functional verificationCarry out routine maintenance activities such as inspections, lubrication, component replacement, and performance testingTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment issues to minimise downtime and maintain operational continuityConduct risk assessments and strictly adhere to all site safety procedures and regulatory requirementsConsistently use appropriate PPE and maintain a strong safety-first approach in all tasksMaintain accurate maintenance and operational records, including inspections, repairs, and parts usageComplete detailed service and field reports outlining issues identified and corrective actions takenProvide on-site technical support and respond to operational queries related to turbine systemsContribute recommendations for improving performance, reliability, and equipment optimisation🧠 Skills & Experience RequiredStrong working knowledge of turbines and associated mechanical/electrical systemsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manualsSolid mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and fault-finding capabilityUnderstanding of electrical and control systems within power generation environmentsStrong awareness of industry safety standards and compliance requirementsEffective communication skills and a customer-focused approach in field environmentsAbility to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary teamComfortable working in physically demanding environments and variable weather conditionsWillingness to travel extensively and work extended field rotations🕒 Working PatternAverage 12-hour shifts2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotationExtensive travel across project sites within the United States
