Travel Respiratory Therapist

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with over 3 years of level 3 NICU experience and expertise in advanced neonatal ventilation for a variable night shift assignment.Job Details• Position is based in a hospital setting providing care to adult and neonatal critical care patients,• Traveler will float to adult critical care and neonatal critical care units as needed,• Variable night shifts, typically 12 hours from 1800 to 0630,• On-call scheduling required as needed,• Candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility,Job Requirements• Current and active RRT credentials required,• ABG License required if applicable,• Minimum 3 years of experience in a level 3 NICU, including competency in high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, heliox, neonatal intubation, neonatal ventilator management, bubble CPAP, heated high flow for neonates, neonatal arterial puncture, and delivery attendance,• At least 2 years of recent experience in a US hospital setting in the assigned specialty,• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP (AHA only),• CPI certification mandated by position,• NICU transport experience preferred,• US Social Security Number required for consideration,• Must provide two manager or supervisor references, with at least one from the most recent employer,• No pending licenses accepted,Additional Information• Administer and manage respiratory care as prescribed by physicians, including diagnostic evaluations, physiological specimen analysis, and interpretation of cardiopulmonary data,• Provide care across various areas, using advanced technologies and protocols including mechanical ventilatory support, artificial airway care, pharmacological agents, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation,• Engage in neonatal delivery attendance, arterial blood gas analysis, and care for both adult and neonatal critical populations,• Must comply with hospital testing and vaccination requirements, including COVID and flu,• Dress code and scrubs requirements align with hospital policy,
