Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Urbana, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,434 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Urbana, Illinois, 61801! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Advanced Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience License: Illinois state RN License in good standing Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association) Must-Have: Trauma 1 experience, EPIC experience Description: Performs all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to the scope of service. Implements procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice. Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to assure the integration of information for use by the healthcare team. Completes initial assessment upon patient admission and develops appropriate plan of care in accordance with unit standards and that is based on patient and family needs. Implements plan of care, nursing interventions, and patient care procedures. Modifies plan of care based upon continuous evaluation. Takes responsibility for patient and employee safety by reporting and/or correcting safety hazards and incidents. Communicates with others directly and in private when necessary to resolve issues. Offers constructive feedback to assist in the professional development of peers. Confers with colleagues to expand knowledge base. Identifies own learning needs and takes initiative to begin appropriate solutions. Fulfills all requirements of departmental competencies. Monitors patients 24/7 for seizure activity. Ensures good communication with patients and families by utilizing meaningful hourly rounding, bedside shift reports, and whiteboards. Works with critical care teams for Advanced Care patients. Collaborates with hospitalists for Advanced Care patients.
