With minimum supervision, the Sr. Repair Station Technician interprets Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM's), assembly blueprints, drawings, schematics and engineering specifications and using a variety of hand tools and precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications, builds, tests and repairs/overhauls a variety of aircraft components and sub-assemblies.
Essential Responsibilities
Positions and assembles parts according to special instructions, routings and blueprints
Measures parts to specified tolerances
Deburrs, grinds and buffs parts
Records time on labor sheets for each process of repaired
Inspects all parts for cleanliness and flaws
Sends repaired products to test or to quality assurance final inspection
Repairs nonconforming products
Cleans, assembles, disassembles and replaces parts as required
Operates drill press, arbor press, press taker, pneumatic tools and hand tools to aid in assembly
Uses chemicals, adhesives, solvents, lubricants, epoxies, paints and inks, as required
Keeps repairs department clean and free of foreign object damage
Returns all unused parts to stock
Uses equipment such as molding press, arbor press, grinder, soldering iron, belt sander, drill press, magnifying glass (microscope), ohm meter, epoxy machine, ovens, sonic machine, test rigs, fixtures and gauges, and hydraulic press
Keeps repair Supervisor advised of work status, workload, problems and progress as related to work assignments
Position Requirements
Must have experience in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station environment.
5+ years electro-mechanical assembly experience
Must be able to pass FAA Drug and Alcohol test
Must be familiar with FAA CFR's, EASA part 145 and AS9100 Regulations.
Must be able to read and interpret CMM's, blueprints, drawings, schematics and specifications.
Must have working knowledge of basic shop math and be able to complete basic electrical formulas.
Must be able to accurately and efficiently use a variety of assembly hand tools and precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers and dial indicators.
Must be knowledgeable in the use of MRP computer systems.
Airframe & Power Plant Certificate a plus, but not required.
Associates Degree a plus, but not required.

Equal Pay Act Range
Hourly Range is $32.55 to $48.51, plus benefits and incentive plans.
