When a permit stalls or a contractor goes sideways,you don’t get rattled — you triage, re-plan, and keep moving. Sloppy handoffs andforgotten follow-ups make you uncomfortable. Field-Forged Credibility: You’ve been on the GC side or worked closely with one, soyou speak trades fluently and you treat field crews like the people actually getting thework done. You can read a drawing set, push back on a change order with specificity,and a foreman would rather work with you than around you. Diplomatic Firmness: You read when pressure will actually move things and when it’lljust burn a relationship — and you pick correctly most of the time. You’re not mean andyou’re not a pushover. GCs and architects respect you because you’re decisive, fair, anddon’t waste their time. Schedule and Budget Discipline: Dates and dollars are sacred to you. You track everyactive project against its baseline, you catch slips before they compound, and you don’tlet a change order pass without understanding what it does to schedule. When youcommit to an opening date, you mean it. Ownership of the How: Once leadership tells you where and when a clinic needs toopen, you don’t come back with questions — you come back with a plan, a budget, anda timeline. You bring decisions to leadership, not problems.What Will You Do? Own clinic buildouts end-to-end, from kickoff to opening day — schedule, budget, scope,GC selection, vendor management Manage GCs and MEP subs across multiple active builds, holding everyone accountableto dates and dollars Coordinate with architects on drawing sets, RFIs, and design changes — keep designdecisions from stalling construction Drive permits, inspections, and landlord coordination — chase down the unsexy stuff soprojects don’t stall Travel to active build sites as needed to walk the work, meet with GCs in person, andverify progress with your own eyes Hand off finished builds to our operations team — coordinate signage, equipment install,IT, and opening prep so day-one runs smoothly Report status, blockers, and burn to leadership in real time so we never get surprisedRequirements 3+ years as a Construction Project Manager, with 2–3 multi-site retail, healthcare, orrestaurant buildouts you’ve personally driven from kickoff to opening GC or assistant-GC background — you’ve been on the contractor side, not just theowner’s-rep side Fluent in the language and timelines of MEP, framing, finishes, permits, and inspections Based in Austin and able to travel to active build sites as needed Comfortable working with leadership in real time — daily updates and quick decisions,not weekly status reports Ability to thrive with direct, unfiltered feedback — we’ll tell you exactly what you need toimproveCompensation Base Salary: $100,000 Performance Bonus: Up to 7% of base salary annually ($7,000) — half paid in cash($3,500), half in stock options Team Revenue Bonus: $500/month when we hit monthly goals ($6,000 annually — wehit our goals 9 out of 12 months in 2024) Total Cash Compensation: Up to $109,500 Equity: Stock options through performance bonus and additional grants based on performanceAll team members regardless of position are eligible for additional stock option grants and profitsharing based on performance.
