TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Columbus, Indiana, 47201 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights, Rotating Every Other Weekend and Holidays Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week Experience: Minimum 2 Years of Recent ICU Experience License: Active RN License or Compact RN License Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS)Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)Certified Critical Care RN (Preferred) Must-Have:Experience with vented patientsAbility to titrate IV medicated dripsExperience receiving open-heart patients immediately post-op Job Description:Demonstrate competence with ventilators and critical drips and the ability to care for ICU patients.Proficient in continuous renal replacement therapy; experience with recovering fresh hearts is preferred but not required.Required experience with equipment including Cerner EMR, Apache acuity software, and Accudose with Pyxis pharmacy dispensing system.Nurses will be expected to work in an 18-bed unit with an average daily census of 10-12.Nurse-to-patient ratio depends on patient acuity.Follow dress code of navy and white scrubs.Participate in unit/department-specific training and orientation, including taking a predictive index online survey and completing life safety training through Healthstream electronic learning management system.
