TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Columbus, Indiana, 47201!About The PositionJob Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Intensive Care Unit (ICU) **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 12-hour night shifts, rotating every other weekend and holidays **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience **License:** Active RN license or compact RN license required **Certifications:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Certified Critical Care RN preferred **Must-Have:** - Ability to care for vented patients - Ability to titrate IV medicated drips - Experience in receiving open heart patients immediately post-op - CRRT and IABP experience preferred **Job Description:** - Demonstrate competence in ventilator management and critical drips. - Care for ICU patients, including those requiring continuous renal replacement therapy. - Utilize Cerner EMR, Apache acuity software, and the Accudose with Pyxis pharmacy dispensing system. - Provide exceptional ICU nursing care, with the capacity to titrate IV medicated drips. - No call requirements; expect to rotate every other weekend and holidays. - Participate in department-specific training and orientation programs, including an online predictive index survey for behavioral drives and a Healthstream electronic learning management system for life safety training. - Nurse-to-patient ratio is determined based on patient acuity. - Adhere to dress code requirements, which are navy and white scrubs. **Additional Information:** - Experience in ICU units such as OR, PCU, PACU, Cardiac Cath, or Tele is advantageous. - Orientation will be provided to ensure familiarity with unit-specific protocols and procedures.
